Time: 5 minutes.
Difficulty: Very low.
Budget: Very low.
Salt, garlic and spinach are the only three things you need in this 5-minute dish. As an easy, cheap, healthy and ultra-quick dish, you may as well as forgot about eating those instant noodles hiding in your cupboard! Whenever I felt lazy, I will just cook this together with some Japanese BBQ pork (焼肉) and eat them together with rice as my lunch. This combination only took 10 minutes in total – perfect for bento preparation early in the morning!
- 1 pack of spinach
- 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 tbs WARM water (Prevent yellowing)
1. Clean and cut the spinach into 3 cm lengths. Diced the garlic into fine pieces.
2. Heat the pan with some oil. Add in both the garlic and spinach at the same time. Stir fried over high flame for 30 seconds. When the spinach is almost 70% cooked, pour in the salt solution. Continue frying for another 20 seconds and serve them.
