Some viewers have been requesting for some simple seafood dishes in the blog. And here we are, an easy and quick salmon recipe just for you.
Today we are preparing a Chinese-style stir-fry salmon recipe. Usage of scallion, garlic and dried chillis give the salmon a Chinese touch (flavour-wise), without competing with the original taste of fresh salmon.
- 300 g salmon
- 1 scallion
- 3 dried chillies
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 2 tbs soy sauce
1. Slice the scallion and garlic as shown below. Start off by frying the dried chilli, garlic and scallion with 3 tbs of oil for about 3 minutes. Put them aside after that.
2. Using the fragrant oil in the pan, lightly fry the salmon pieces on both sides. Be careful not to burn the salmon as they cook very quickly. Pour in the soy sauce, chillies, scallion and garlic and mix well for about 3-5 minutes.
3. And here we are. A Chinese variation of cooking our favourite salmon. Serve it while hot with some white rice!
